DARWIN IN PATAGONIA 1832 - 1834
The HMS Beagle captained by Robert Fitzroy sailed the southern seas between 1832 and 1834 carrying Charles Darwin on board as a naturalist. He crossed the Argentine pampas and the fjords of Chilean Patagonia with a scientific gaze.

The author observes the similarity between the three generations, where their lives were marked by the industrial revolution, medicine and their integration with the Wedgwood family. Findings as a naturalist led Darwin to develop the theory of evolution in his work On the Origin of Species.
