Patagonia Glaciers: Finding My Inner Peace

Philippe Laroze Prehn (Author)

REVIEW:

Glaciers Patagonia is a book that deals with a series of true adventures that took place at the end of the world.

These are unexaggerated adventures. Because reality surpassed fiction in every way. In fact, they were even toned down to make them more believable.

The adventures recounted were experienced by a group of individuals who, driven by a shared interest, embarked on an odyssey. Unaware of what awaited them in these southern lands, they discovered the keys to their long-sought inner peace.

Why? You might ask, is it so important for us, as human beings, to find this state of mind, or this way of living? Because, by achieving inner peace, we become the best version of ourselves. We find our happiness, our tranquility, our personal satisfaction, and our joy in living, even in our dreams.

During the growth process, we found the answers to a series of questions, which we will address in each chapter. These are: Why are we here? How can we transfer the energy of the glaciers to people? What is the purpose of our consciousness? Where is the soul? What is the importance of family? How do we finish what we start? And finally, what is my role in this society?

These answers, found amidst the southern glacial ice, would lead us to discover the keys to inner peace—something we hope every reader can attain. Throughout the chapters, the reader will learn in detail all the essential points necessary to achieve this perception of life as the adventures unfold across Patagonia.

Through anecdotes and the challenges inherent in every journey, the reader will learn to focus on positivity—a key element in achieving their most cherished goals. They will also learn to face adversity in the most humane way possible, exploring and cultivating their own inner peace by confronting their own fears, just as we did when we faced ours.

As the glaciers seeped into our souls, the reader will receive that wonderful energy and feel how the joy of living is key to their own peace. They will learn in detail what happens at the edge of consciousness, when the body teeters on the brink of delirium. Something that left a profound impression on us that we wish to share.

As goals become more complex, it's necessary to refine our habits. Every time the bar is raised, so is the sacrifice. That's how we had to improve our training strategies, learn about patience, and refine every detail of our daily routine, leaving behind everything that generated negativity or was a burden. Learning to let go is key to inner peace.

Towards the end, we went in search of a solar eclipse in Antarctica, something that wouldn't happen again for 300 years. We wanted to align the Sun, the Moon, the glacier, and the swimmers. Little did we know that to achieve this, we would end up braving the fearsome currents and winds of the Strait of Magellan, praying for our lives. That's how we managed to see the light. It was this light, the light of the San Isidro lighthouse, that guided us back to land and allowed us to tell this wonderful story.

All of this was necessary for us to realize that inner peace is something very human. Something we can all achieve. Especially if we learn the key points.
